A couple of weeks ago, we had a new face join the Screen Interaction team for breakfast at the Victoria office. We grabbed her for a few minutes between onboarding meetings and did a quick interview to find out a little about her.
Who are you, and what will you be doing at Screen Interaction?
–My name is Sophie Uesson, and I will be working as a Service Designer here at Screen.
What made you decide to join the team at Screen Interaction?
–I had heard about Screen Interaction from Daniel Petersson (Design Director), whom I run the IoT Sthlm Meetup group with. From what he told me about Screen Interaction, it seemed like we shared the same mindset about innovation. I held a Competence Lunch lecture on the topic “From habit to change” at the Screen office last summer, and spoke with Daniel this autumn about collaborating somehow. It didn’t really match at that time, but here I am now!
Could you tell us something that we wouldn’t find out about you from reading your LinkedIn profile?
Oh, only one thing? I have three things! I have completed an inline marathon in Berlin, I try to go diving at least once a year, and I also have plans to launch my own hot sauce brand! The first sauce has a beetroot base that gives it a bright purple colour, which is why I call it Zombie Blood.
As a multi-talented person, we think she’ll fit right in here with us! Next up in the interview series: Anders Winter.
